If you've ever looked at the digital world and thought, โThere is so much to learn, and I don't know where to start,โ you're not alone.
I'm Elsa Ramsay, founder of Prodigy eLearn.
I teach practical digital marketing and AI skills to women over 50 who want to keep learning, build confidence with technology, and understand how today's digital world actually works.
And I know what it feels like to be the beginner.
I didn't grow up with the technology we have today. I learned it as an adult, one skill at a time.
That's one of the reasons I created Prodigy eLearn.

I've spent nearly 40 years working in the corporate world, much of that time supporting senior executives and working in demanding administrative and business environments.
My career taught me things that still matter today:
How to organise information.
How to communicate clearly.
How to solve problems.
How to learn new systems.
How to keep going when something feels unfamiliar.
Those skills didn't disappear when technology changed.
They simply needed to be applied in a new environment.
"You don't have to be young to learn new technology. You just need a place to start."
Digital marketing wasn't part of my original career plan.
I had to learn it.
And that meant becoming comfortable with things that were completely new to me:
Digital marketing
Content creation
Social media
Search and SEO
Websites and landing pages
Email marketing
AI tools
Creating and organising digital content
Some things came easily.
Some absolutely did not.
But I discovered something important along the way.
Learning digital skills after 50 is possible.
You don't need to understand everything at once.
You need to understand what matters first, then learn the next piece.
The more I learned, the more I realised how many women my age were looking at digital technology from the outside.
They weren't incapable.
They simply didn't always have someone explaining things in a way that made sense to them.
That's where Prodigy eLearn came from.
I wanted to create a place where women over 50 could learn practical digital skills without feeling that they had to know everything before they began.
I don't believe learning has an expiry date.
I also don't believe you need to become a technology expert overnight.
My approach is much simpler.
Start with the digital skill you actually need.
You don't need to learn everything at once. Focus on one useful skill, understand it, practise it, and then move to the next.
Confidence comes from using what you learn.
Watching tutorials is helpful. Actually applying the skill is where things begin to make sense.
Let your skills develop over time.
There is no prize for learning everything in a weekend.
Steady progress is far more useful than feeling overwhelmed.
You don't need to know everything. You just need to know what to learn next.
I created Prodigy eLearn especially for women over 50 who recognise themselves in one or more of these situations:
You may have years of experience behind you, but technology has changed the way so many things are done.
You may be curious about digital marketing, but simply don't know where to begin.
Or perhaps you know you have more to learn, and you're looking for someone who will explain things clearly without making you feel like you should already know it all.
โTechnology has changed so much since I started working.โ
โI know I need better digital skills, but I don't know where to begin.โ
โEveryone seems to understand AI except me.โ
โI want to become more confident using digital tools.โ
โI have years of experience, but I need to understand today's digital environment.โ
โI'm willing to learn. I just need someone to explain it clearly.โ
You don't need a technical background.
You don't need to understand every new tool.
And you certainly don't need to compare your learning journey with someone else's.
You can start with what you need to know today and build from there.
Your experience matters. Your willingness to learn matters too.
The digital world is enormous, so I focus on practical skills that can actually be used.
You don't need to learn every new platform, tool or trend.
You need to understand the skills that are relevant to you and learn how to use them with confidence.
Understand the foundations of digital marketing and how the different pieces fit together.
Learn how to create useful, relevant content and communicate your message clearly.
Discover practical ways AI can assist with research, ideas, writing, planning and everyday digital tasks.
Become more comfortable learning, experimenting and solving problems with digital tools.
Learn what matters. Practise what you learn. Use your skills with confidence.
When you're learning something new, complicated explanations can make a simple idea feel impossible.
So I try to explain things the way I would explain them to a colleague sitting across the desk from me.
Clearly.
Practically.
Without assuming you already know the terminology.
And without making you feel silly for asking a question.
There is no such thing as a stupid question when you're learning something new.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that experience doesn't become irrelevant just because the world changes.
In fact, experience can become an advantage.
You already know how to communicate.
You already know how to manage responsibilities.
You already know how to deal with people, deadlines, problems and unexpected situations.
Learning digital skills simply adds another layer to everything you've already learned throughout your life.
That's the perspective I bring to Prodigy eLearn.
I won't tell you that you need to know everything.
I won't expect you to understand every new digital trend.
And I won't pretend that learning something new is always easy.
What I will do is break things down into practical steps and help you understand what matters, why it matters, and how to use it.
Practical
Learn skills you can actually apply.
Clear
Understand the "why", not just the buttons to press.
Step-by-step
Build your knowledge one skill at a time.
If you're new here, these are a few good places to begin. ๐
If you're a woman over 50 who wants to understand digital marketing and develop practical digital skills, take a look at what Prodigy eLearn offers.
Start by exploring the learning options and see whether they feel right for where you are today.

I'm still learning too.
That's something I don't intend to stop doing.
Technology will continue to change. New tools will appear. There will always be something else to learn.
But you don't have to learn everything.
You just need to learn what matters to you next.
If you're over 50 and ready to keep learning, I hope you'll find something useful here.
